kids guide to What to wear this Christmas
I love Christmas so much and this year I have had a good mooch online to see what lovely outfits I could find for Christmas 23! It's always a bit of a funny one finding something to put the little ones in for Christmas because you want them to look lovely but also be comfortable. Thick jumpers look cosy but in reality, they are running around and get hot quickly. So I have found a bit of everything, for most ages, perfect for Christmas mini sessions and also for the festive period itself.
Take a look at my top picks...
M&S
Sometimes a little pricey but the quality is almost always there. They wash well, wear well and the kids clothes are usually pretty cute. Here's what I found.
next
NEXT has some gorgeous outfits in their own brand but they're also selling online for other brands too. You can find all of these on their website. Ordering is usually pretty fast with NEXT so that's also a bonus.
H&M
This store is one of my favourite for children's wear. They have such great variety and they're very reasonably priced. They wash ok and do last but maybe not as long as clothes from M&S etc. Definitely worth a look though.
TU
I love lots of supermarket brand clothes to be honest but this year's TU clothing had a couple of lovely items that caught my eye. Here is what I found.
MONSOON
A little more in the pricier range, however, their clothes are just stunning for children. Here's a few items that I saw online that I think are super cute.
The white company
These are my FAVOURITE!!! Their clothes for little ones are just something else. They are in the higher price bracket for sure but they make such cute items, that always look traditional but modern at the same time. Perfect for the Autumn/Winter season in my opinion.
River Island
I am not a massive fan of River Island for kids because I think some of their children's clothes look far too grown up for little ones sometimes. However, they do have a few nice Christmas/Winter type outfits online at the moment that may be worth a peek at. Here's a couple that I thought were quite cute.
AMAZON
Now you have to read the reviews for sure, but there really are some ok things for kids on there. Perfect for your Christmas photos without breaking the bank.
I hope this gives a little inspiration for Christmas Mini sessions and for over the Winter/Christmas period. You are absolutely welcome to bring 2 outfits to Christmas Mini sessions if you wish, for instance, Christmas pjs and a nice dress and tights or shirt and chinos. Or if you'd like to stick to the one outfit that is also fine. Sequins are always a winner in Christmas photos or anything sparkly. For boys, nothing too busy or with big slogans that could be distracting.
